Great place, just went there! From Atl and have visited Vietnam, needed a good meal in NC. Would come back again!!!
Wonderful hostess too, so friendly, good energy and food! -

I really, really want to like this place because I know they are under new management now, but every time have went here they miss the mark. Service was a lot better our second time, but they are slooooow. Don't go here if you are limited on time for lunch because you'll never get back on time. They really need another chef back there helping to get food out faster.
Speaking of food, the pho needs a lot of work. Flavors are very very subtle and watered down and the noodles were gummy and stuck together. The noodle dishes are good, but oily and would probably be better served in a bowl. They never have any traditional boba even though it's on their menu either.
Vegetarians and vegans beware!! You need to specifically tell servers they do not eat fish or any meat otherwise you may end up with meat hidden in your food.
Maybe once they hammer out kinks it'll be better. -

The service is very slow despite going when we (4) were the only ones in the restaurant. We waited 20 minutes for our food to come, which may be because the server was new. Despite this, they were very friendly and the pho was delicious.

Really good pho and some of the best, most authentic Vietnamese dishes in Hickory.
The broth here is really good. Accompaniments are always fresh. Last night's trip here was good as always, but it seemed the portion of noodles in the pho was a bit scant.
Their sate/chili oil is a pretty good sate with actual flavor and not just heat.
Tried the Korean bbq plate on a previous trip. Good, but I'll definitely stick with pho or a Vietnamese dish.
Service is always friendly.
They're under new management now and the menu has been updated to include the kbbq dish and some Vietnamese dishes that weren't previously on the menu. If you've not been here in a few months, give them another try as they've definitely stepped up their game. -

Any review that says this is the best Pho in the area is either family or friend of the owner. The food is nowhere near authentic and of the three times I went, the service was horrendous. I get that sometimes people have bad days, but when the experience is poor on all levels after multiple visits, other Pho places are better options.
